Here is some info about classes Mark offers:

License To Carry (LTC) (formerly called Concealed Handgun Licensing, CHL)

The Texas 84th Legislature passed new legislation allowing open carry in Texas. The new program is now called License To Carry (LTC).

Obtaining a Texas Licensed To Carry (LTC) permit requires the successful completion of a minimum of 4 to 6 hour certification course which is governed by the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS). The course addresses use of force, gun safety, gun storage, conflict resolution and Texas laws pertaining to use of force as a defense, use of restraint holsters, licensing requirements and related laws. Students must also qualify with a handgun in accordance with the DPS course of fire (50 rounds at 3, 7 and 15 yards) and pass a 25 question exam. Following successful completion of the course students must submit an application, digital fingerprints and fees to TxDPS. Upon receipt of the application by TxDPS, an FBI and State background check will be conducted. A LTC will be issued after the completion of the background check and all requirements are satisfied.

See my Blog for more details about the new LTC law.
